![]() Upscaling 1080p to 4k is quite literally 4x the pixels (more or less, generalizing all the standard sizes as one). I just think the issue is a little more complicated when you're dealing with 1440p which is ~1:2.5 scaling of 1080p, compared to 1:4 of 4k. Either way, thanks for the info! :) Everything you've said makes sense (higher resolution media on a higher resolution screen looks better) even for the uninformed. You might still be right, I have no idea, but it SOUNDS like we're talking about two different things. Just to be clear, we're not talking about 1440p media on a 4k screen, we're talking 1080p OR 4k media on a 2.5k vs 4k screen.
